2023基于语料库的跨学科前沿研究国际会议在西安交大召开

2023年10月27日至29日，由西安交通大学外国语学院与北京外国语大学中国外语与教育研究中心联合主办的“基于语料库的跨学科前沿研究”国际会议在西安成功举办。本次大会吸引了来自国内外众多高校和科研机构的专家学者及研究生参会，共同探讨语料库语言学在多学科领域的最新应用与发展。

本次会议以“基于语料库的跨学科前沿研究”为主题，旨在进一步推动语料库理论与方法在人文社会科学、翻译学、医学及人工智能等交叉领域的融合创新。会议议程紧凑、内容丰富，包含会前工作坊、主旨发言、分组发言以及研究生创新论坛等多个环节。

在主旨发言环节，多位国际顶尖学者和国内知名专家为大会带来了精彩的学术盛宴。英国兰卡斯特大学Anthony McEnery教授、美国宾夕法尼亚大学Mark Liberman教授、英国伯明翰大学Michaela Mahlberg教授、日本早稻田大学Laurence Anthony教授等国际著名学者，以及北京航空航天大学卫乃兴教授、上海外国语大学胡开宝教授、北京外国语大学许家金教授和浙江工商大学钱毓芳教授等国内领军人物，分别围绕语料库与人工智能的深度融合、语料库翻译学、医学语料库研究等前沿课题分享了最新研究成果与深刻见解。

会议期间的会前工作坊同样反响热烈。Laurence Anthony、Gavin Brookes、Niall Curry等多位专家围绕语料库研究工具、学术论文写作与发表、语料库统计学及语义标注等核心技能进行了详尽指导，为参会师生提供了宝贵的实操训练。

此外，大会的分组发言和研究生创新论坛环节学术氛围浓厚。与会代表围绕“人文社会科学的语料库研究路径”“基于语料库的话语研究”“语料库与外语教学”等七大核心议题展开了深入交流与热烈讨论，充分展示了语料库语言学跨学科研究的蓬勃生机与广阔前景。

International Conference on Advances in Corpus-based Interdisciplinary Research Successfully Concludes in Xi'an

From October 27 to 29, 2023, the International Conference on Advances in Corpus-based Interdisciplinary Research was successfully held in Xi'an. Co-hosted by the School of Foreign Studies at Xi'an Jiaotong University and the National Research Centre for Foreign Language Education at Beijing Foreign Studies University.

Under the theme "Advances in Corpus-based Interdisciplinary Research," the conference aimed to further promote the integration and innovation of corpus theories and methodologies in fields such as humanities and social sciences, translation studies, medical science, and artificial intelligence. The comprehensive program featured a variety of sessions, including pre-conference workshops, keynote speeches, parallel sessions, and a postgraduate innovation forum.

During the keynote sessions, a lineup of world-renowned scholars and distinguished domestic experts delivered captivating academic presentations. Prominent international figures including Prof. Anthony McEnery (Lancaster University, UK), Prof. Mark Liberman (University of Pennsylvania, USA), Prof. Michaela Mahlberg (University of Birmingham, UK), and Prof. Laurence Anthony (Waseda University, Japan), alongside leading Chinese scholars such as Prof. Naixing Wei (Beihang University), Prof. Kaibao Hu (Shanghai International Studies University), Prof. Jiajin Xu (Beijing Foreign Studies University), and Prof. Yufang Qian (Zhejiang Gongshang University), shared their latest findings and profound insights on cutting-edge topics.

The pre-conference workshops were equally well-received. Experts including Laurence Anthony, Gavin Brookes, and Niall Curry provided detailed guidance on essential research skills, covering corpus research tools, academic writing and publishing, corpus statistics, and semantic annotation, offering invaluable hands-on training to the attendees.

Furthermore, the parallel sessions and the postgraduate innovation forum fostered a vibrant academic atmosphere. Participants engaged in in-depth exchanges and lively discussions centered around seven core topics, including "Corpus Approaches to Humanities and Social Sciences," "Corpus-based Discourse Studies," and "Corpora and Foreign Language Teaching and Learning." These sessions fully demonstrated the vitality and broad prospects of interdisciplinary corpus research.
