学会简史

本协会于2009416日成立于上海交通大学。2009416日至2015419日之间称为中国语料库语言学研究会,系中国修辞学会下属二级学会。2015419日正式成为中国英汉语比较研究会(英文名称为China Association for Comparative Studies of English and Chinese,简写为CACSEC)下属二级学会。按照民政部规定,研究会现官方名称为中国英汉语比较研究会语料库语言学专业委员会,英文名称为 Corpus Linguistics Society of China,简写为 CLSC

学会宗旨

语料库语言学专业委员会旨在推进我国语料库语言学学科发展,开创语料库语言学研究及应用新领域。研究会致力于聚集全国同仁智慧,总结和评价学科进展,促进研究实践的规范化,共同策划重大选题,强化国内外学术交流,深化学术研究,构建学术互动平台,交流研究成果并促进其应用、转化与出版。研究会尤其注重培育语料库语言学研究梯队,锻炼和打造新一代的青年研究者生力军。

组织机构

专委会理事会成员分常务理事和一般理事。常务理事及一般理事增补由理事会讨论决定。理事会负责决议研究会的重要事宜。通过理事会选举产生主任委员1名、副主任委员不超过5名,共同商议、决策有关活动和事宜。每届专委会理事全体成员任期为4年。理事会下设秘书组,负责理事联络、会议筹备等事务。

学术活动

遵照研究会宗旨,积极开展各种学术研讨和交流活动,包括以下活动形式:

每两年举办一次中国语料库语言学大会(Corpus Linguistics in China,简称 CLIC),会议称为X届中国语料库语言学大会,主办者为中国英汉语比较研究会语料库语言学专业委员会,承办单位和地点由研究会单位成员申请,通过理事会审定批准。

专委会不定期举办语料库语言学圆桌论坛,为小规模专题论坛(Corpus Linguistics Open Colloquium,简称 CLOC)。承办者及地点向理事会提出申请,并经理事会审定通过。

策划跨校跨区域合作项目及工程开发。

策划和组织学术研究丛书。

History of the Society

The Corpus Linguistics Society of China (CLSC) was founded at Shanghai Jiao Tong University on April 16, 2009. From April 16, 2009 to April 19, 2015, CLSC functioned as a subsidiary association of the Chinese Rhetoric Society. On April 19, 2015, CLSC became a subsidiary society of the China Association for Comparative Studies of English and Chinese (CACSEC).

Mission of the Society

The Society aims to advance the development of corpus linguistics in China. It is committed to pooling the wisdom of colleagues nationwide, evaluating disciplinary progress, promoting the standardization of research practices, and collaboratively planning major research initiatives. The Society seeks to strengthen domestic and international academic exchanges, build academic platforms, and share research findings while facilitating their application, transformation, and publication. Furthermore, the Society places particular emphasis on cultivating a pipeline of research talent in corpus linguistics, training and fostering a new generation of young researchers as a vital force in the field.

The Board

The Board consists of executive and general board members. The appointment of new members to either role is subject to discussion and approval by the Board. The Board is responsible for deciding on key matters concerning the Society.

The Board shall elect one President and a maximum of five Vice Presidents, who will jointly deliberate and rule on relevant activities and affairs. The term of office for all Board members is four years.

A secretariat shall be established under the Board to handle administrative duties, including acting as a liaison to council members and coordinating meeting preparations.

Activities

In line with its mission, the Society conducts regular conferences and seminars. Its two main events are as follows:

The Corpus Linguistics in China Conference (CLIC) is held biennially.

The Society also organizes the Corpus Linguistics Open Colloquium (CLOC) on an irregular basis. CLOC serves as a small-scale thematic roundtable forum.

Applications concerning the organizer and venue of the events are submitted to and approved by the executive board.
