2013年10月19日至20日，第二届中国语料库语言学大会（CLIC2013）在东华大学松江校区召开。本届大会由中国英汉语比较研究会语料库语言学专业委员会主办、东华大学外语学院承办，来自全国60多所大学，130多位学者参加了大会。东华大学副校长俞建勇出席开幕式并致辞，东华大学科研处、外语学院以及语料库语言学专业委员会等有关负责人与会。
本届大会围绕专门用途英语、学习者中介语、语料库的建设与软件开发、语料库与翻译等相关论题进行了主题发言和分组讨论，并围绕“变化的语料库语言学”这一论题进行了颇有特色的专家论坛。会上，华南师范大学何安平教授、香港城市大学的方称宇博士分别作了题为“意义单位的语料库语言学研究”（On Corpus Linguistic Approach to Unit of Meaning—Its Development and Pedagogic Implication）、“现代英式英语中的从属与并列关系研究：基于语料库的方法”（An Empirical Account of Coordination Based on a Corpus of Spoken and Written British English）的主旨发言。大会还设五个小组进行分组讨论，与会者围绕各分会的主题依次发言，并展开充分、热烈的讨论，现场学术气氛十分浓郁。
10月20日，大会举办专家论坛。论坛由语料库语言学专业委员会主任委员卫乃兴教授主持。论坛上，何安平教授针对“语料库语言学教学加工”提出了在内容上的加工、体例上的加工和教学的富集。李文中教授基于多年研究，阐述了英语在中国的地位、英语对中国文化的承载以及如何基于语料库开展研究。濮建中教授以题为“不变的相信文本原则会给语言学带来什么变化”发表个人见解。梁茂成教授针对语料库变与不变的问题，着重阐明了搭配研究的核心地位、语言与结构、话语、社会的关系以及语料库的应用问题。卫乃兴教授以“语料库语言学变与不变”为题，围绕语料库语言学作为方法、作为学科和关于最小假设逐一阐述。其后的问答环节中，在座研究学者与台上专家积极互动，反响热烈。
闭幕式上，卫乃兴教授致闭幕词，并宣布第二届中国语料库语言学大会闭幕。
The Second Corpus Linguistics in China (CLIC2013) Conference
From October 19 to 20, 2013, the Second Corpus Linguistics in China Conference (CLIC 2013) was held at the Songjiang Campus of Donghua University. The conference was organized by the Corpus Linguistics Society of China of the China Association for Comparative Studies of English and Chinese, and hosted by the College of Foreign Languages of Donghua University. More than 130 scholars from over 60 universities across China attended the conference. Jianyong Yu, Vice President of Donghua University, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Relevant officials from Donghua University's Research Office, the College of Foreign Languages, and the Corpus Linguistics Professional Committee were also present.
The conference featured keynote speeches and panel discussions on topics including English for Specific Purposes, learner interlanguage, corpus construction and software development, corpus and translation, and other related issues. A distinctive expert forum was also held on the theme of "Changing Corpus Linguistics." At the conference, Professor Anping He of South China Normal University and Dr. Alex Chengyu Fang of City University of Hong Kong delivered keynote speeches titled "On Corpus Linguistic Approach to Unit of Meaning—Its Development and Pedagogic Implication" and "An Empirical Account of Coordination Based on a Corpus of Spoken and Written British English," respectively. The conference also organized five panel sessions, where participants gave presentations on the themes of their respective panels and engaged in full and lively discussions, creating a strong academic atmosphere.
On October 20, the conference held an expert forum chaired by Professor Naixing Wei, Chair of the Corpus Linguistics Society of China. During the forum, Professor Anping He discussed "pedagogical processing in corpus linguistics," proposing processing in terms of content, orthographical effort, and pedagogical enrichment. Professor Wenzhong Li, drawing on years of research, elaborated on the status of English in China, the role of English in carrying Chinese culture, and how corpus-based research can be conducted. Professor Jianzhong Pu shared his views in a talk titled "What Changes Will an Unchanging Belief in the Principle of Text Bring to Linguistics?" Professor Maocheng Liang addressed the question of change and continuity in corpora, emphasizing the central role of collocation research, the relationships among language, structure, discourse, and society, as well as applications of corpora. Professor Naixing Wei , in his talk titled "Change and Continuity in Corpus Linguistics," discussed corpus linguistics as a method, as a discipline, and in relation to the principle of minimal assumption. In the subsequent Q&A session, the scholars in attendance actively interacted with the experts on stage, and the response was enthusiastic.
At the closing ceremony, Professor Naixing Wei delivered the closing remarks and announced the conclusion of the Second Corpus Linguistics in China Conference.
