2016年10月21日至23日，由亚太语料库语言学协会和中国英汉语比较研究会语料库语言学专业委员会联合主办，北京航空航天大学外国语学院承办，香港城市大学翻译与语言学系、《外语教学与研究》、《外语与外语教学》和《解放军外国语学院学报》协办的第三届亚太语料库语言学大会（The 3rd AsiaPacific Corpus Linguistics Conference，APCLC2016）在北京航空航天大学开幕。来自英国、美国、澳大利亚、韩国、日本、新西兰、巴西、中国香港、中国台湾等14个国家和地区的50余名学者以及中国大陆的200余名学者参加了此次会议。
大会开幕式由北京航空航天大学外国语学院副院长董敏副教授主持，北京航空航天大学副校长黄海军教授出席并致开幕辞、北京航空航天大学外国语学院院长向明友教授致欢迎辞。亚太语料库语言学协会主席Micheal Barlow教授以及中国英汉语比较研究会语料库语言学专业委员会主任委员卫乃兴教授出席会议并讲话。本届会议同时邀请到伯明翰大学Susan Hunston教授、北京外国语大学梁茂成教授、兰卡斯特大学Tony McEnery教授、佐治亚州立大学Ute Römer博士以及悉尼大学Monika Bednarek博士作为主旨发言人。会议正式开始之前的21日，举办了面向青年学者的语料库技术使用培训作坊。
大会设6个分会场进行分组研讨。与会者将围绕1) 语料库研究中的新技术与新方法；2) 语料库研究中的交叉研究；3) 语料库与跨语言、跨文化研究；4) 语料库与话语分析；5) 语料库与语言习得和教学；6) 语料库与词典学和翻译研究等主题进行探索。会议另专设“信息检索及语义计算”“基于语料库的翻译研究”“语料库语言学在韩国”“基于语料库的中国古典文学翻译研究”“语料库教学研究新进展”等主题研讨会。
The 3rd Asia Pacific Corpus Linguistics Conference (APCLC3) co-located with the 3rd Corpus Linguistics in China (CLIC2016) Conference
From October 21 to 23, 2016, the 3rd Asia Pacific Corpus Linguistics Conference (APCLC3) opened at Beihang University. The conference was co-hosted by the Asia Pacific Corpus Linguistics Association and the Corpus Linguistics Society of China, organized by the School of Foreign Languages at Beihang University, and co-organized by the Department of Translation and Linguistics at City University of Hong Kong, Foreign Language Teaching and Research, Foreign Languages and Their Teaching, and the Journal of PLA University of Foreign Languages. More than 200 scholars attended the conference.
The opening ceremony of the conference was chaired by Associate Professor Min Dong, Deputy Dean of the School of Foreign Languages at Beihang University. Professor Haijun Huang, Vice President of Beihang University, delivered the opening speech, and Professor Mingyou Xiang, Dean of the School of Foreign Languages at Beihang University, delivered the welcome address. Professor Michael Barlow, President of the Asia Pacific Corpus Linguistics Association, and Professor Naixing Wei, President of the Corpus Linguistics Society of China, delivered speeches. The conference also invited Professor Susan Hunston from the University of Birmingham, Professor Maocheng Liang from Beijing Foreign Studies University, Professor Tony McEnery from Lancaster University, Dr. Ute Römer from Georgia State University, and Dr. Monika Bednarek from the University of Sydney as keynote speakers.
The conference set up six parallel sessions for group discussions. Attendees explored topics including: 1) New technologies and methods in corpus research; 2) Interdisciplinary research in corpus linguistics; 3) Corpus and cross-linguistic/cross-cultural studies; 4) Corpus and discourse analysis; 5) Corpus and language acquisition and teaching; and 6) Corpus and lexicography and translation studies. Additionally, the conference featured special thematic symposia such as "Information Retrieval and Semantic Computing," "Corpus-based Translation Studies," "Corpus Linguistics in South Korea," "Corpus-based Translation Studies of Chinese Classical Literature," and "New Developments in Corpus Teaching Research."
