第一届局部语法研究专题研讨会顺利举行。2024年9月21日，本次会议由中国英汉语比较研究会语料库语言学专业委员会主办，四川外国语大学外国语文研究中心与科研处联合承办，通过线上平台召开。会议围绕“局部语法在语言描写、话语研究与教学中的应用”展开，邀请多位专家作专题报告，吸引全国300余名师生参与。
开幕式由马武林教授主持，王仁强教授致辞。他介绍了学校与研究中心发展情况，梳理语料库语言学的发展脉络，重点阐释局部语法的研究特征与方法，并指出其体现概率性、非定律性与不确定性等思维特征，强调其理论深度与发展潜力。
主题发言环节中，专家从多维视角展开探讨：北京航空航天大学卫乃兴教授系统阐述局部语法的理论渊源、概念框架与发展路径；山西大学杨林秀教授以英语学术论文为例，分析言据性的词汇语法表征及其局部语法建构；上海外国语大学李晶洁教授以学术语篇中的“I”为切入，探讨作者身份建构的语篇策略；安徽财经大学张磊副教授梳理学术话语行为研究脉络，强调高频短语型式与话语功能的研究价值；北京航空航天大学董敏教授探讨局部语法与系统功能语法在经验识解中的互补作用；安徽工程大学刘运锋副教授基于短语学路径，分析短语项中词语与语法的互动关系；北京外国语大学黄鼎博士构建多模态局部语法框架并进行案例分析；四川外国语大学苏杭教授从型式语法与构式语法出发，探讨局部语法在构式识别中的作用；北京语言大学徐雨隽博士以“道歉”为例，研究国际中文学习者的言语行为与语用能力；北京航空航天大学闫莉博士聚焦学术论文引言语步，开展局部语法视角下的结构分析。整体而言，各报告展示了局部语法在语篇分析、学术写作与语言教学等领域的广泛应用与解释力。
会议最后由苏杭教授总结。他指出，本次研讨主题集中、内容充实，体现了局部语法研究的理论价值与应用前景，同时也提出语类研究、多语种言语行为等领域仍有待深入拓展，鼓励学界持续探索与创新实践。最后，主办方对支持单位及与会师生表示诚挚感谢。
The First Symposium on Local Grammar Studies was successfully held online on September 21, 2024.
Hosted by the Corpus Linguistics Society of China and co-organized by the Research Center for Foreign Languages and Literatures and the Office of Scientific Research at Sichuan International Studies University, the symposium focused on “the application of local grammar in linguistic description, discourse studies, and teaching,” attracting over 300 participants nationwide.
The opening ceremony, chaired by Professor Wulin Ma, featured remarks by Professor Renqiang Wang. He introduced the university and research center, reviewed the development of corpus linguistics, and highlighted the defining features of local grammar, emphasizing its probabilistic, non-deterministic, and indeterminate nature, as well as its theoretical depth and future potential.
In the keynote session, speakers approached local grammar from diverse perspectives. Professor Naixing Wei (Beihang University) outlined its theoretical origins, conceptual framework, and future directions. Professor Linxiu Yang (Shanxi University) examined evidentiality in academic English, focusing on its lexico-grammatical realization and local grammar construction. Professor Jingjie Li (Shanghai International Studies University) analyzed authorial identity construction through the use of “I” in academic discourse. Associate Professor Lei Zhang (Anhui University of Finance and Economics) reviewed research on discourse acts, highlighting the importance of recurrent phraseological patterns. Professor Min Dong (Beihang University) discussed the complementarity between local grammar and Systemic Functional Linguistics in construing experience. Associate Professor Yunfeng Liu (Anhui Polytechnic University) explored phraseological units and lexico-grammatical interaction from a Sinclairian perspective. Dr. Ding Huang (Beijing Foreign Studies University) proposed a multimodal local grammar framework with case analysis. Professor Hang Su (Sichuan International Studies University) examined the integration of pattern grammar, local grammar, and construction grammar. Dr. Yujun Xu (Beijing Language and Culture University) investigated speech acts of international learners of Chinese, using apology as a case study. Dr. Li Yan (Beihang University) conducted a move analysis of research article introductions from a local grammar perspective.
In closing, Professor Hang Su noted the symposium’s strong theoretical grounding and rich content, affirming the promising prospects of local grammar research. He also identified areas for further exploration, such as genre studies and multilingual speech acts, and encouraged continued innovation. The organizers expressed sincere gratitude to all supporting institutions and participants.
